Double CieL are a collective based in France and the UK, united by a shared philosophy and creative foundation in light, change and reflection.
Textures of embodied experiences inform Double CieL’s practice, where multi-layered stories emerge through intentional yet organic sequencing that allow narratives to flow in and out of the frame. Affects, moments and metaphors lived by are captured in words, on film and through sound. The collective explores the thickness and plurality of perceptions and thoughts through creative work, allowing art to be a situated, ever-moving synergism rather than a static physicality.
